During the Open Education Week 2026, Tom van Woudenberg will host a workshop: Creating Open Interactive Learning materials using TeachBooks. This is initiated from the Open Interactive Learning Materials Project Board, of which Tom van Woudenberg is part of.

- Practical TeachBooks tools and workflow for collaboratively creating an open interactive learning module
- An overview of the support/services available for OILMs and OITs at TU Delft
- Tips for integrating interactive learning materials effectively into your teaching
- How to publish your open interactive learning module with the Library
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is ideal if you have an idea for a JupyterBook but haven’t started yet, are curious about creating your own interactive learning material, or simply want to explore and have questions about TeachBooks or OILMs.
Note: Please bring your laptop (you’re also welcome to join as an observer). No special software is required, just a web browser. Creating a GitHub account in advance will save you time.
