The Executable Books team has been around for a long time, creating much of the original Jupyter Book tooling. We’ve been in contact with them for quite a while, but now we’re officially part of the group!
This means we’ll be spending some of our time maintaining their tooling—such as Sphinx extensions and the original Jupyter Book v1—which is heavily used and referenced throughout the TeachBooks ecosystem. This collaboration has already resulted in updates to sphinx-proof, sphinx-external-toc and sphinx-togglebutton.
